“My parents instilled in me from a young age that the best job in the world was one where you could help others on a daily basis in whatever way you can and leave them better for it. They chose to open a restaurant and feed others a fresh and healthy meal that would leave them full and happy. I knew that medicine was a way that I could combine my love for science and passion for helping others.
Dr. Chiang was the Captain of his high school and college lacrosse teams. In his residency program he served as Chief Resident for anesthesiology and Chief Fellow during his pain management fellowship.
As a pain management specialist, Dr. Chiang is highly-skilled in treating a number of chronic pain conditions related to all areas of the body, especially the neck and the back. Treatment options can include medications, nerve blocks, injections and much more.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Chiang loves to spend as much time as possible with his wife and newborn daughter. He enjoys attending LSU and Saints games, and he loves to cook. He also loves to travel domestically and internationally. He plays golf, tennis and lacrosse.
