Dr. William Chiang Joins AVALA Pain
HAMMOND, LOUISIANA – AVALA is pleased to announce the newest addition to the AVALA Physician Network, Dr. William Chiang.
Dr. Chiang is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management Specialist serving the Hammond, Metairie and Slidell communities with AVALA Pain. He attended Louisiana State University and completed Medical School at LSU – Shreveport. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed a 1 year fellowship there in Interventional Pain Management.
“I have frequently seen the effect both acute and chronic pain can have on a person. This pain could often change a person’s personality, demeanor, and outlook on life. Utilizing simple medication adjustments and minimally invasive procedures such as injections and nerve blocks often had profound effects on these patients. I am passionate about being able to help all patients that walk through my clinic doors as pain does not discriminate based on gender, age, race, or religion. Pain is a universally understood concept and all people of all walks of life are affected. I hope to be able to ease this burden for them.” said Dr. William Chiang.
Dr. Chiang will see patients in Hammond, Metairie and Slidell clinics. He will join the ranks at AVALA Pain utilizing first class treatment options to help every patient treat their pain symptoms. He begins seeing patients on August 1st.
